Job description
Airswift is seeking a Sr. Project Finance Accounting to work on a permanent contract in Rio de Janeiro with a major Oil & Gas Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide daily support to the project team on matters related to the budget;
- Ensure full understanding of the contract and project scope;
- Analyze the handover budget;
- Prepare the cost structure of the project and implement it in SAP and other cost control tools;
- Establish cost control processes and practices according to the company's methodologies;
- Update the project budget continuously and ensure its consistency between the various areas of the project;
- Prepare monthly analysis of budget variances and sensitivity analyses;
- Identify and value potential risks and opportunities;
- Participate in the elaboration of Variation Orders;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly project reports and ensure their reliability;
- Ensure a participatory environment in the project for cost control;
- Provide feedback to the Budget Holder/Project Manager about any deviations in the budget;
- Provide cost information for internal and external audits;
- Participate in the project closeout.
- Ensure standardization of BFC (corporate reporting system) releases;
- Calculation and accounting entry of POC (Percentage of Completion), as well as accounting entries referring to monthly closings;
- Issuance of monthly and quarterly reports related to the financial closing of the project, such as LTF, Project Reconciliation, among others;
- Together with the reports, perform analysis of variations at different levels of detail, as well as consolidation of them;
- Consolidate and report project cash flow including variance analysis using corporate reporting systems (Ecosys and LTCF system);
- Acting in the deliveries to the demands requested by the external and internal auditors.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS - Graduation in Production Engineering, Economics, Administration or Accounting Sciences.
- Post-graduation on Finance, Project Management or Cost Control is desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of finances, costs and accounting.
- Advanced English
- Advanced Excel
- SAP user
- Experience in EPCI projects is desirable .
