Job description
Airswift is seeking an Operational Logistics Manager to work on a permanent contract with a major Oil & Gas Company in Rio de Janeiro.
The Regional Operations Manager has oversight of the Operations and Logistics Bases related to the assets being used in the region. She/he also acts as the functional manager of the Team, made up of professionals who are assigned to the projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervising ongoing operations in the region and their respective logistics bases
Acting as the focal point in tenders, with regard to intelligence and strategy for intercontinental vessel transits, import/admission and crew adaptation to local regulations
Identifying and optimizing the chartering strategy in the region and for all projects
Being responsible for the utilization strategy and long-term plans for logistics bases
Identify, develop and execute the subcontracting of logistics bases
Line manager of the Operations support team, providing all the necessary and required support
Provide and allocate operations resources to Projects, whether Local or GPC
Create an incident-free workplace culture, promoting safety as the first value for the Manufacturing Team and Subcontractors
Regularly report on the status of Operational and Logistics sites, including associated problems, risks, progress, anticipated schedule, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Higher education completed
Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Relevant experience in Project Management, Operations and Logistics workplaces
Good team management experience
Fluency in English
