Proven work experience as an ER Studio Data Modeler or similar role.
Strong proficiency in ER Studio or similar data modeling tools.
In-depth knowledge of data modeling principles, techniques, and best practices.
Experience in designing and implementing both logical and physical data models.
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and Databricks for database design, development, and optimization.
Experience with Git Repository, PR Process, and Azure DevOps pipeline
Advanced knowledge of database design principles, normalization techniques, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational database systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with other data modeling tools such as ERwin, IDA , or Oracle Designer is a plus.
Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts is advantageous.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a bonus.

Activities
Establish and enforce data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for the Anglo data model in accordance with industry guidelines.
Collaborate closely with the business and delivery teams to implement effective data strategies, build efficient data flows, and develop comprehensive conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Work alongside Business Analysts to conduct defect root cause analysis, identifying and implementing solutions for data and data model-related defects.
Create, modify, and optimize database structures while managing the data itself, leveraging a deep understanding of both relational and non-relational database systems, particularly SQL Server and Data Bricks.
Coordinate the development of data models with higher-level data architecture to ensure consistent data representation across applications.
Proactively address analytical requirements, validating them against the existing data model to ensure their alignment and effectiveness.
Identify and articulate potential issues and challenges, providing recommendations to minimize project delivery risks and enhance data model performance.
Take a hands-on approach to model and govern the expansion of the existing data models, utilizing best practices and advanced SQL knowledge to optimize data query performance.
Promptly respond to and resolve database access and performance issues, employing troubleshooting skills and collaborating with relevant teams.
Apply industry-standard data modeling practices and tools, including ER Studio, for data extraction, queries, and data manipulation, adhering to Data Analytics standards, policies, and procedures.
Ensure the stability, reliability, and accessibility of data across the organization by providing ongoing database support and maintenance, while also prioritizing data quality.
