Job description
A U.S-based finance company that lets the customer save their money and transform it into an accumulated portfolio, is looking for an Android Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the app is responsive and the user data stays safe. The company also presents users with an option to invest in bitcoins and earn more. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires 8 hours of overlap with the PT or ET time zone. The company has managed to successfully raise close to $510 mn in funding.
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Design, create, and maintain high-performance, reusable Android applications
- Ensure the highest level of responsiveness, performance, and quality for the app
- Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Implement measures to safeguard user data
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Knowledge of Android and Android Studio
- Familiarity with Kotlin and live coding challenge
- Knowledge of AWS and GraphQL is nice to have
- Proficiency in English
