Job description

ASSET STRATEGY MANAGER Responsible for establishing / maintaining T&D system design and operating protocols while ensuring consistency between overall strategy, the value and risk philosophy that underlies the management of the transmission assets, and the determination and assignment of work required to ensure ongoing value of installed transmission assets. In addition to standard Managerial / Supervisor functions such as Goal Setting and Tracking, Career Development, Resource Planning and Coordination, and Succession Planning, Managing Budgets and assigned Projects, setting the proper example in leading compliance with Corporate Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, and accepting assigned roles during major events (storms), this individual will oversee the conduct of periodic management reviews and audits of the Asset Management (AM) program, develop reports for informing LUMA Top Management of the condition and performance of key T&D assets, drive organizational adherence to core AM processes, Liaise with IT OT in ensuring adequate system support for any required analytics, provide governance regarding use and completeness / accuracy of asset data repositories, oversee the liaison with T&D Operations regarding preventive and corrective maintenance (and prioritization of same) of critical asset classes, drive development / maintenance of Asset Class Specific Management Plans, and collaborate with the Long-Range Investment Planning group in the formation of the Capital Investment Portfolio. DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science Degree Engineering or ManagementEXPERIENCE: 8 to 12 years (or more)KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: With demonstratable experience in the following: Nurturing/coaching professionals and field employeesApplying sound judgment to make decisions. Root Cause methodologiesOutage History and Cause analysis and standard actions to improve reliability.Executive-level reporting
