Manual QA Engineer
We are looking our next Manual QA Engineer who would be helping us to grow in next areas:
Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Manually test web and mobile applications to identify system malfunctions and ensure quality.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams and assist in troubleshooting issues.
Quality Assurance :
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Review and analyze system specifications to ensure test coverage.
Documentation:
- Document test phases and defects effectively.
- Maintain updated records of testing documentation and historical analysis of test results.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Work closely with development teams to identify system requirements and coordinate test priorities.
Continuous Improvement :
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
Experience in QA methodology and familiarity with web and mobile platforms.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
