Background:
Insignia Event Services is a newly created business unit affiliated with the Arizona Cardinals, tasked with producing all events at State Farm Stadium including all Arizona Cardinals games. In addition to Arizona Cardinals games, Insignia Event Services exclusively
manages Sportsman's Park (SP). Sportsman's Park has been a site for pre-game festivities, tailgating, concerts, festivals, weddings, graduations, corporate events, and other related experiences.
Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for leading efficient and effective design, planning, communication and execution of various internal and external projects and event production for Insignia Event Services. This includes facilitating production support on all Arizona Cardinals home football games and events held at State Farm Stadium, Sportsman's Park, Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center, and other venues. This is a Full Time position located at State Farm Stadium.
Primary Job Duties:
- Assist with the technical staging production requirements for Arizona Cardinals home games, major events, projects at State Farm Stadium, Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center, Sportsman's Park, and other venues as required.
- Assist with daily events and project related planning and scheduling of team members
- Lead regular safety meetings and participate in the development of internal standard operating guidelines and procedures
- Assist with the procurement and management of equipment rentals and purchases
- Lead the safe operation of machinery such as forklifts, flatbeds, box trucks, and scissor lifts
- Understand and utilize safe lifting procedures and ensure personal protective equipment for team member safety
- Develop and deploy systems and processes to improve department efficiency
- Track short term and long-term project performance
- Lead and contribute to a positive, collaborative, productive, and safe environment
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Exceptional understanding of team building concepts and techniques
- Project management experience a plus
- OSHA certification
- Must understand rigging and power for event production
- Experience with leading crews/staff
- Experience with process improvement and inventory control for events and projects
- Fork & aerial lift experience/certification
- Truck and trailer loading experience
- Intermediate computer skills to include the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a high stress, fast-paced, live production work environment
- Must be creative, innovative, enthusiastic, high-energy, results oriented with a commitment to excellence
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in related field
