Join the conditioning team at the state of the art Sportsplex health & fitness facility as a Certified Personal Trainer! The Sportsplex features a fitness center, basketball courts, soccer fields, strength equipment, machines, free-weights, and over 30 group exercise classes per week to choose from. Members love the Sportsplex because it’s clean, spacious, and equipment is unbelievable and you can make a difference in their health & fitness experience!
We currently seek an enthusiastic, responsible, friendly, energetic, sales driven part-time Certified Personal Trainer to work evening shifts up to 19 hours per week. This highly visible role is responsible for building their own client base and conducting individual personal training sessions by promoting and selling their expertise. In addition, this position also works as a Fitness Instructor leading members through orientations and fitness assessments, as well as provides supervision and instruction on the floor to assist members in using the fitness equipment.
This position requires an enthusiastic self-starter who is not only sales-orientated, but who has the confidence and ability to build to their own client base by regularly reaching out to new and old members to invite them for assessments and training sessions.
The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing, friendly attitude and be skilled in the art of guiding others to realize thier full potential and feel good about themselves.
Utilization of the fitness desk along with monitoring the floor is highly recommended to assist in meeting and securing potential clients.
A minimum of 2 years related experience preferred or four-year degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or other related field. ACE, AFFA, ACSM, or NASM certification is required. Must be customer service focused, motivated and have a positive attitude!

Pay rate: $26.83 - $35.77 per hour depending on experience and qualifications as a Personal Trainer.
Seperate hourly rate when working as a Fitness Instructor.
