Job Title: 1:1 Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £70 - £100 per day
Start Date: Easter
Contract Type: Full-time

Are you passionate about providing individualised support to students in an educational setting? Our schools in Chelmsford are seeking dedicated and versatile 1:1 Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team starting in Easter. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and support their academic and personal development.

About Us: As a 1:1 LSA, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will work closely with individual students to provide tailored support and assistance according to their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Provide academic, social, and emotional support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Assist with classroom activities, including differentiated instruction and behaviour management.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • A patient and compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields is desirable.
