Junior Sales Consultant

Our client is looking for a Junior Sales Consultant for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.

The role of Sales Consultant is typically to form a key exponent of the Sales team and maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, both existing and potential, and provide customers with projected quote values for any orders. The Sales Consultant is mainly office-based. Reports to the Division Director.

Our client is looking for a Junior Sales Consultant for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.

ROLE

The role of Sales Consultant is typically to form a key exponent of the Sales team and maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, both existing and potential, and provide customers with projected quote values for any orders. The Sales Consultant is mainly office-based. Reports to the Division Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sales support to Senior Sales Staff
• Taking customer enquiries via telephone, fax or email, senior staff will support larger accounts.
• Using the customer enquiry information to effectively prepare a quote for the specified order, this will be mostly repeat orders\enquires.
• Sending the quote, as per customer requirements.
• Processing sales and purchase orders for lower value smaller accounts.
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers.
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Helping with any administrative work including cover while other on holiday

REQUIREMENTS

• Education - Good level of general education
• Training - In house training will be given on all internal systems
• Skills - computer skills are required
• Experience - Experience in a similar role essential within Marine, Service company and oil related sales
