Job description
We are currently recruiting for an interim Finance Manager for approx. 3 months, to support a transition between UK and US finance team. The role will act as a key interface between the UK based group finance with the U.S. team to establish key process and controls improvement which will eventually support them becoming a self-sufficient team. You will also oversee the 3 U.S. based finance team. The role will be Birmingham based and manufacturing experience with multi-site is essential.
Key responsibilities to include
Establishment of U.S. month end close process, aligned to the group process. This includes key reconciliations, checks and monthly mis setup
Weekly sales, margin and cost reconciliations for US sales
Support Daily reconciliations for AR, AP and bank account, via local team
Work with the group finance team in setting up key inventory control procedures for the U.S.
Support group finance team in xl based modelling on potential U.S. deals etc
Setting up documentation on key processes
