Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Course Delivery: Delivering lectures, conducting discussions, and facilitating learning experiences for undergraduate students in the BCA program. This involves preparing and delivering course materials, designing lesson plans, and utilizing appropriate teaching methodologies.
  • Curriculum Development: Participating in the development and revision of the BCA curriculum. This includes designing and updating course syllabus, selecting appropriate textbooks and learning resources, and integrating industry trends and best practices into the curriculum.
  • Student Assessment: Evaluating student performance through various assessment methods, such as assignments, exams, projects, and presentations. Providing timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and academic growth.
  • Academic Advising: Guiding and mentoring students in their academic and career goals. Providing advice on course selection, program requirements, internships, and research opportunities. Assisting students with academic challenges and promoting their overall personal and professional development.
  • Departmental and Institutional Service: Participating in departmental and institutional committees, meetings, and events.
  • Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in the field of computer applications, teaching methodologies, and technologies. Attending conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance teaching and research skills.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and industry professionals to enhance the quality of education and create a supportive academic environment.
