About the job SCATTER is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Animator with a firm grasp of animation techniques, fundamentals, and software for the social pages of brands. The animator will read through AV scripts and create narratives for various shoot and non-shoot-based videos through impactful animation skills and formats. These videos will be made for the digital platforms of some of India’s most prominent brands across the BFSI, Telecom, FMCG, banking and Automobile sectors. The animator will collaborate with our producers to design and execute animation videos for various brand videos across 2D, GFX, Mixed media, cut-out and stop motion animation, etc. Position: 2D Animator CTC: Up to INR 5L per annum Annual Retention Bonus – INR 50,000 . This is in addition to the above CTC and released on completion of one year. Subject to being on the payroll and not serving a notice period. City: Delhi Responsibilities: Take briefs from the producers and turn the brief/ script into an engaging animation video. Creating the angle, content, and tone according to the needs of the client and audience for each video. Conceptualizing and designing ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds, and other animation elements. Creating character sketches for new animations based on design briefs. Developing storyboards for animation projects. Developing timing and pacing of motion based on audio requirements. Collaborating with the creative time, including designers, photographers, and other animators, to finalize and complete projects. Research various design techniques to provide accurate designs for requested animations. Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction. KRAs: The number of videos delivered as per the deadlines. Quality check on each animation video delivered. Visual innovation in animation for social formats Assist and contribute to the ideation and development of new forms of animation content. Platforms for which videos need to be created: YouTube Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn Non-mainstream social channels, as they pick up, including Telegram, Reddit, etc. WhatsApp Branded blogs and websites OTT Platforms (in partnership with brands) Qualification: 2 to 3 years of experience in video editing and animation for brands Hands-on knowledge of Adobe Suite. Strong visual aesthetics and design sense for social media platforms An ability to work in a team with good communication skills. Proven ability to draw across different types of artistic styles. Ability to work independently as needed. Ability to manage multiple animation projects of varying complexities and meet deadlines. What will give you an edge?
