CIB2S - Securities Services: Account Manager

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You will join the Securities Services business line part of the Corporate and Institutional Banking division. In CIB2S Madrid, we provide Settlement & Custody services for Institutional Clients for Spanish & Global Markets. As an Account Manager, you will be liaising with:
· Settlement of Fixed Income & Equity Instruments
· Asset servicing of the above securities
· Funds, Nav calculation.
· Cash management & reconciliations
Main responsibilities
Provide support and deliver operational processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of securities. Ensure trade transactions are booked correctly in systems for clean downstream settlement.
· Ensuring compliance with procedures
· Ensure that checklists are completed and followed
· Ensure customer care and business throughout the day
· Ensure proper monitoring of Service Level Descriptions and specificities agreed with clients
· Monitoring of customer incidents and problems
· Data management and record keeping
· Completing tasks within regulatory compliance
· ‘Client focus’ attitude to maintain a fluid relationship with clients that enable them to obtain their best service perception
· Knowledge of customers and their characteristics and specifications
· Propose ideas and improvements, take initiative
WHAT ARE WE SEEKING?
Behavioral skills
· English (minimum of level of B2, but C1 is a plus. French is also a plus
· PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Maturity, professional standing, strong interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills
· Ability to work with remote teams
· Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines and with complex client requirements
· Degree in related field of study (business admin. or similar)
· Master on Finance or business school or equivalent will be a plus
