Who you are Join our team in OBAMA as a Deputy Sales Manager within our team in L 'Hospitalet Store, one of the stores with the highest TNR in Spain. Also, you will live a VAPS environment, where you will be able to develop the business in the most entrepreneurship way inside IKEA, in a multicultural market as it is Barcelona. We want you to join us to develop yourself and IKEA in Catalonia, through an ambitious expansion plan. So, if you are looking for a challenge in a magic, wonderful and big city, ¡this is your opportunity! About you Nowadays you are or have proven experience as a shopkeeper in sales department, or maybe you are a sales manager or deputy in a small store and you want to take this challenge in a big one, like Hospitalet. You have a business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus, and, also, experience of leading and developing people with good results. You are good setting and implementing action plans, budgets and following up goals. In other hand, your totally aware of profit and loss and how to affect its result through departmental actions. You see yourself with the ability to engage a receiver by creating a passion for your plans and to confront and manage poor performance. Proven ability to understand cause and effect of decisions. You are a good communicator in English and Spanish, and if not with one of these, you have the strong commitment to learn it in short time. About this work area You will secure a consistent, seamless positive customer experience through all channels by ensuring that your department is always striving to fulfil the three IKEA customer motivators: 'Is it worth it? ', 'Can I trust IKEA', 'Is there something for me? . In other hand, you will support the commercial action plan for your store; taking input from the team and the matrix manager to ensure the department supports the achievement of the agreed goals for the country, maximizes sales and generates sustained long-term profitability. Also, you will help your shopkeepers to understand the multichannel retail environment they are working in and know how to use this in the best and most commercial way for different customers. In other hand you will follow up your financial goals, KPIs andcosts, and act on deviations, motivating and developing the team members by agreeing clear goals, expectations and conductingfollow-ups.
