Job description
Our client, a distinguished local developer, specializes in the creation of diverse masterplan communities. Responsibilities: - Develop and manage construction budgets for mid-rise and high-rise residential projects,
- Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate estimates,
- Engage in effective oral and written communications with contractors regarding estimates,
- Coordinate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, incorporating it into estimates,
- Oversee the appropriate distribution of documentation upon project award,
- Maintain project files and correspondence, ensuring organized documentation,
- Assist with RFP and General Contract tender submissions,
- Collaborate with Development, Implementation, and Construction teams to ensure project success,
- Foster positive relationships with Project Managers, Consultants, and subcontractors.
Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience,
- Previous experience in high-rise construction is an asset,
- Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings and specifications,
- Site experience,
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office,
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team,
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills,
- Highly organized with a drive for continuous improvement,
- Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
