Your new company
A privately owned Construction Management company, with a focus on multifamily wood frame projects across the Lower Mainland is looking to hire a Project Coordinator. They are looking for a junior level candidate who is career driven, passionate about construction and focused on learning. This role will give the successful candidate a high level of exposure to the entire construction process, as well as mentorship opportunities from senior industry professionals.
Your new role
Your core responsibilities will focus on assisting the Construction Manager and will include assisting with management of the tender process, administration of project documentation, regular participation in site, client work, project planning and trade meetings. You will primarily be based in the Richmond office with some limited travel to site(s) on an ad hoc basis.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be someone who has a relevant technical education, such as a Degree or Diploma in Construction Management. Ideally, candidates will have 1–2 years of relevant experience working as Project Coordinator for a General Contractor. Newly graduated candidates will also be considered on merit. Strong interpersonal and organization skills are extremely important. Excellent relationships with sub trades and contractors are a pillar of this client’s business model.
