Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Property Manager to join our TGA Property Management team. The Senior Commercial Property Manager works under the direction of the Vice President, Real Estate Operations. This position requires strong knowledge of commercial properties. The candidate is responsible for meeting all contractual obligations and deliverables as well as achieving the Company’s goals and objectives through effective financial and operational management. As a member of the property management team the key responsibilities of the Senior Property Manager include but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities: Ensure all properties are managed and operated in compliance with all regulatory requirements Develop strong tenant relationships Oversee third party vendors Conduct site inspections regularly Provide leadership and assist in the investigation/resolution of any issues that arise Identify deficiencies and provide recommendations and action plans in order to improve the property Purchase Order and Work Order Processing and Contractor Management On-call response to after-hour emergencies as required Other assignments within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as reasonable requested from time to time by management Required Knowledge and Experience: 7-10 years experience in Property Management. Minimum of five (5) years Commercial/Industrial Property Management experience Experience with YARDI (Voyager 7S) would be an asset Working knowledge and experience in financial accounting in commercial real estate, financial reporting, and budgeting Ability to apply logic and reasoning to effectively manage projects, analyze complex financial, legal and contractual problems and to provide solutions or recommendations Proven ability to identify, evaluate and develop new ideas with supportable results Effective negotiation skills to influence and impact at all levels – senior management, peers, direct and indirect reports Superior oral and written communication skills Sound analytical and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills – MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Reliable vehicle required travelling to various sites AODA Statement TGA Group encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
