The Role
We seek an experienced Financial Controller to help steer the finance function during an exciting phase of accelerated global expansion. Following a successful restructuring, Prodigi is poised for sustainable growth, and this pivotal role will drive operational excellence and provide strategic counsel to our leadership team.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader eager to make an impact by optimising financial reporting, strengthening controls, and improving processes throughout the organisation. With a focus on partnership, innovation, and quality, the Financial Controller will build scalable systems and a high-performing team to support the company's ambitious vision.

Responsibilities
- Optimising the tools available in Netsuite and Microsoft to gain efficiencies and minimising manual repetitive work.
- Managing all accounting operations, including cash management, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
- Managing day to day finance operations including queries.
- Assisting Group Financial Controller/ Finance Director with multiple projects (streamlining & revamping processes, systems, internal controls, data, and reporting).
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances.
- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
- Analysing cost information and advising on product investment decisions.
- Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings.
- Researching technical accounting issues and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Managing and overseeing external audits and providing necessary documentation and support.
- Cover for all entities’ payroll reconciliation.
- Assisting Head of Finance in developing and implementing financial risk management strategies and policies.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, (preferably a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a senior management accountant or a finance manager).
- Prior experience in stock accounting would be an advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and experience with creating financial statements.
- Have experience managing more than 1 entity.
- A can-do attitude, not afraid to get their hands dirty to help the team and find solutions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems, preferably NetSuite.
- System agnostic, quick at adapting to multiple systems.
- Intermediate/Advanced skill in all Microsoft Applications especially Excel.
- Comfortable with analysing big data.

- Knowledge and basic user of Power BI and Power Pivots.
