The Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) is the National Government of the Red River Métis - also known as the Manitoba Métis. The Red River Métis are Canada’s Negotiating Partners in Confederation and the Founders of the Province of Manitoba.
The MMF seeks to fill one summer term Environmental Summer Program Lead position within our Energy, Infrastructure & Resource Management Department located in Winnipeg, MB . Reporting to the MELT Coordinator, the Program Lead will oversee and implement the environmental summer programs for MMF’s Métis Environmental Leaders of Tomorrow (MELT) Program. MELT is a program that offers land-based education opportunities with a focus on climate education and climate action for Red River Métis youth, kindergarten to grade 12.
