Job description

Looking to a hire a Maintenance Millwright that is looking for work here in Delta, BC!

We are currently looking add an afternoon shift to our facility and need a Certified Millwright to join our expanding team. Looking for someone who is keen to working on small to very large scale machinery handling repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues. We are looking for someone interested in designing, assembling, and testing out new equipment and then tearing down and adjusting where needed or per customer request. We specialize in custom building our clients machines, parts or components. Location: Delta, BC
Shift: Afternoons- Monday - Thursday
Shift Time: 4 x 10 hour shifts \\ 2:45 PM-12 AM (could be day shifts in the future)
Wage offered: Between $41.63-$45.00/hr. (NON-UNION)
This is a transit accessible location but license preferred
This is a 3 month contract with potential for permanent hire
*Steel toe boots required*

Responsibilities
- Repair, Maintain and Troubleshoot newly designed customer machines to clients request
- Suggest and try out different ways to make these machines work and offer suggests to customers
- Draft and read drawings and blueprints
- Open to working with a team, we are very close and would love for you to join us
- Keep areas clean and organized for shift rotation and job pickups
- Equipment commissioning to company standards
- Keep track or log machines progress, outputs, or maintenance needs

Qualifications
- Experience Rigging and reading Drawings
- 3rd Year apprentice or Red Seal Certified preferred
- Can understand imperial and Metric measurements
- Background working with Industrial Equipment preferred
- You exhibit a passion for creating custom orders and learning new ways to build them
- Physically able to lift, bend, stand and climb
- Located in or around the Delta, BC area
